Joan Downs, LPC
Joan is passionate about walking alongside people in difficult seasons of life. She believes that while life’s challenges can leave people feeling broken, hope and healing are always possible. She considers it a privilege to sit with individuals as they process their stories and begin putting the pieces of their lives back together. Her approach is rooted in empathy, patience, and the belief that many of the answers people are searching for already exist within them... sometimes they simply need support to help bring those answers to light.
Joan holds a BS in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where people feel seen, heard, and supported as they move forward with hope.
