About
The G.R.O.W. Recovery to Work Ecosystem of Greene County, built upon the Development District Association of Appalachia (DDAA) Recovery To Work Ecosystem Builders framework, is designed to break down barriers and unite the diverse strengths of the community. Throughout the planning year, it became clear that while Greene County is rich in character, faith, and commitment, its organizations and systems often operate in silos, limiting the impact of their collective efforts. By leveraging the DDAA framework to assess goals, challenges, and opportunities, the program addresses gaps in recovery, treatment, and employment outcomes, aiming to foster collaboration among faith-based groups, community organizations, government agencies, treatment providers, and employment partners. DePriest Center’s vision is to establish a dynamic, cohesive, and sustainable Recovery to Work Ecosystem that transforms the landscape of support in Greene County. This program introduces a comprehensive collaborative model that unites passion, programming, and potential, creating a continuum of care that guides individuals through every stage of recovery and workforce development. Participants will benefit from wrap-around supports, community engagement, and workforce planning, empowering them to achieve lasting employment and a life transformed by full recovery. The G.R.O.W. Recovery to Work Ecosystem of Greene County is more than a program—it is a movement toward a unified, thriving, and hope-filled Greene County.
