Be the Change
...for an Individual, a Family, a Community

Life Changing transformation you can be a part of!

DePriest Center, supported with INSPIRE funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), is excited to announce its 2024-2025 planning project aimed at reducing identified gaps in the comprehensive treatment and resources for those struggling with substance use disorders and in need of recovery-to-work opportunities in Greene County, Tennessee. Through  building a community-based team from various sectors within Greene County, our goal is to enhance comprehensive access to treatment and strengthen economic growth in Greene County through it's recovery-to-work program and partnerships. We are committed to create health opportunities, address economic disparity, and advance prosperity in the lives of individuals, families, and communities of Greene County.

The planning phase (2024-2025) includes completing a comprehensive analysis inclusive of a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), to identify gaps in resources and support services to further identify substance use disorders (SUDs) needs and comprehensive, effective ways to integrate the recovery-to-work continuum for individuals affected by addiction in Greene County, TN.

DePriest Center is seeking to partner with Greene County community partners from varying sectors, including health services, community organizations, government agencies, employers, and faith-based entities. DePriest Center invites YOU to consider partnering with us in this project as we evaluate the SUD ecosystem of Greene County, conduct a SWOT analysis to identify service gaps and community needs and assess the current landscape of SUD treatment and recovery services.

DePriest Center holds monthly outreach meetings open to all potential community partners of Greene County, as well as organized quarterly Partner Collaboration Meetings for our working group to share information and data among project partners for enhanced planning and program forecasting.

DePriest Center,  will host a Project Summit Event in September, 2025 to present findings and recommendations from the planning year and comprehensive analaysis. Collaborative community partnerships and program implementation steps will be announced at the Project Summit with details of the finalized programming.
